The Northwestern University Entertainment Alliance East is a convergence of entertainment professionals and enthusiasts alike living and working in New York City and surrounding communities. As an alliance of creative and focused alumni, the NUEA is dedicated to the education, support, and promotion of its members through professional programming, innovative networking opportunities, and industry related seminars. Whether you are an aspiring actor, or award-winning filmmaker; a passionate musician, or high-profile publicist, the NUEA is there for you- It's your career; It's your peers; It's your network!
NUEA East was established in 1998 to provide opportunities for alumni working in the Arts and Entertainment fields to connect. Since its inception, the organization has been greatly responsible for creating a community of highly respected industry professionals and dedicated fans working within the New York, Tri-State, and East-Coast regions. Often referred to in industry circles as the "Northwestern Mafia," the NUEA East works closely with its sister organizations, NUEA West and NUEA Chicago, to provide and foster bi-coastal opportunities for its members.
With hundreds of dedicated alums working throughout New York's film, music, theater, and television industries, the NUEA's extensive network continues to expand. Are you a devoted fan, a dedicated audience member, or just an all-around entertainment enthusiast? If so, then you should be a member too! NUEA East membership is not exclusive to industry professionals. After all, what good is an artist without his audience?
